To arrive at the Reina Sofia Museum in Madrid by bike, first, you must head towards Calle de Atocha. Take the bike lane for about 1 km until you reach Paseo del Prado. Turn right onto Paseo del Prado and continue straight for about 800 meters, until you reach Calle de Santa Isabel. Turn left onto Calle de Santa Isabel. You will find the Reina Sofia Museum on your left after cycling for about 200 meters. Landmarks to look out for are Hotel Paseo Del Arte and a Repsol petrol station. It's worth noting that the museum's exact address is Calle de Santa Isabel, 52, 28012, Madrid. Please, Always make sure to lock your bike securely as bike theft is an issue in the city.
To get to the Reina Sofia Museum in Madrid by public transport, you have options depending on where you are coming from. You could take the Line 1 of Metro and get off at Atocha station. From there, it's a short walk to the museum. Alternatively, you could take bus number 27, C1, C2, or 34 which stops near the museum. If you are nearby, you could take Cercanías, which is a regional train service, and get off at Atocha station. If you are driving to the Reina Sofia Museum in Madrid, you'll need to take the M-30 highway. After driving on the M-30, take the exit 13 towards the Madrid city centre. Continue on the exit 13 and head towards Avenida del Mediterraneo, then to Plaza de Conde de Casal. From there, go onto Calle del Doctor Esquerdo then straight towards Calle de Atocha. The museum is located at 52 Calle de Santa Isabel. Plan for parking in advance as the museum does not provide parking facilities. The closest public parking garage is on Plaza de Atocha.
